It is still way to early to know for sure, but there’s at least a glimmer of hope that 180solutions is starting to smarten up. Apparently they are going to start showing all of their install base a 180solutions Pop-up telling users they have adware installed.

This is a great first step, and hopefully in the long-run it will go a long way towards making adware more respectable. What I’d love to know is how many people uninstall it immediately.
